A one-time setup in Apple’s Shortcuts app adds Share with FoundThis to the system share menu. This first version opens FoundThis in your browser and prepares the link automatically.

1. Create the shortcut. Open Shortcuts, tap +, and name it Share with FoundThis. In its Details, turn on Show in Share Sheet. Set the accepted input types to URLs and Text.
2. Add “URL Encode”. Set it to Encode and select Shortcut Input as its input. This keeps punctuation and tracking parameters from breaking the handoff.
3. Add “Text”. Paste this address, then insert the URL Encoded Text output variable immediately after the equals sign. Don’t type the variable name as plain text or add a space.

4. Add “Open URLs”. Use the Text output from step 3. Save the shortcut.

Try it from a public post: Share → More (if needed) → Share with FoundThis. The shortcut may appear in the actions list below the app icons. Allow it to open the site if asked.

Install FoundThis from Chrome to make it available as a destination for shared links.

1. Open this site in Chrome on Android, outside another app’s built-in browser.
2. Open Chrome’s menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen → Install. A simple browser shortcut may not register as a share destination.
3. In TikTok or another app, share the post’s link and open the system share menu. Choose FoundThis. You may need to tap More.
4. Once your link is ready, tap Share link and choose where to send it.

Availability depends on your browser and device. If FoundThis isn’t listed, open the installed app once and retry. You can always paste a link on the homepage.
